Cooking Instructions
Prepare the Beef Patty
In a bowl, combine the ground beef, soy sauce, black pepper, salt, onion powder, and garlic powder. Mix well and form into a patty.
Cook the Beef Patty
Heat 1 tablespoon of oil in a skillet over medium heat. Cook the beef patty for about 5-6 minutes on each side, or until fully cooked. Remove from skillet and set aside.
Cook the Rice
While the beef patty is cooking, prepare the white rice according to package instructions.
Fry the Eggs
In the same skillet, add the remaining tablespoon of oil. Crack in the eggs, cooking them sunny-side up or over-easy according to preference. Cook until the whites are set but the yolks are still runny.
Assemble the Loco Moco
On a plate, place a scoop of white rice, top with the cooked beef patty, and place the fried eggs on top. Finally, pour the brown gravy over the entire dish.
