Preparation
Directions for Sweet Tea
1. Boil Water
In a large saucepan, bring 4 cups of water to a boil.
2. Steep Tea
Once the water is boiling, remove it from heat and add the black tea bags. Let them steep for about 5-7 minutes, depending on how strong you prefer your tea.
3. Add Sugar
Remove the tea bags and stir in the granulated sugar until fully dissolved.
4. Cool Down
Allow the tea to cool to room temperature. You can speed this up by placing it in the refrigerator.
5. Serve
In a glass, add ice and pour the cooled sweet tea over it. Garnish with lemon slices and mint leaves as desired.
