Crawfish Bread Ingredients

Method

Crawfish Bread Directions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Crawfish Filling

In a skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant.

  2. 2

    Add Crawfish and Seasoning

Add the crawfish tails and blackened seasoning to the skillet. Stir to combine and cook for about 3-4 minutes.

  3. 3

    Make the Cream Sauce

Pour in the heavy cream and add Cajun seasoning, stirring constantly. Let it simmer for about 5 minutes until slightly thickened. Add salt and pepper to taste.

  4. 4

    Combine with Cheese and Onions

Remove from heat and stir in the shredded Asiago cheese and sliced green onions until well combined.

  5. 5

    Prepare the Bread

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Slice the French bread in half lengthwise and place it on a baking sheet.

  6. 6

    Fill the Bread

Spoon the crawfish mixture evenly onto the cut sides of the bread.

  7. 7

    Bake the Crawfish Bread

Bake in the preheated oven for about 15-20 minutes or until the bread is toasted and the cheese is bubbly and golden.

  8. 8

    Serve

Remove from the oven, let cool slightly, then slice and serve warm.
