Method

Preparing the Ribeye

  1. 1

    Season the Steak

Rub the ribeye steaks with olive oil, salt, black pepper, and garlic powder. Let them sit at room temperature for about 30 minutes.

  2. 2

    Grill the Steak

Preheat the grill to high heat. Grill the steaks for about 5-7 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or until desired doneness is achieved.

Making the Garlic Smashed Potatoes

  1. 3

    Cook the Potatoes

Boil the potatoes in salted water until tender, about 15-20 minutes. Drain and set aside.

  2. 4

    Mash the Potatoes

In a large bowl, combine the potatoes, minced garlic, butter, milk, salt, and pepper. Smash with a fork or potato masher until desired consistency is reached.

Preparing the Vegetable of the Day

  1. 5

    Sauté the Vegetables

In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the seasonal vegetable, salt, and pepper. Sauté until tender, about 5-7 minutes.

Making the Chef’s Signature Sauce

  1. 6

    Prepare the Sauce

In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Add shallots and sauté until translucent. Pour in red wine and beef broth, simmer until reduced by half. Stir in parsley before serving.

Preparing the Side Salad

  1. 7

    Assemble the Salad

In a large bowl, combine mixed greens, cherry tomatoes, and cucumber. Drizzle with olive oil and balsamic vinegar, and season with salt and pepper. Toss to combine.
