Cooking Instructions
- 1
Prepare the Brisket
Rub the Angus beef brisket with a mixture of smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, brown sugar, black pepper, salt, mustard powder, and liquid smoke. Ensure the mixture is evenly coated on all sides.
- 2
Preheat the Smoker
Preheat your smoker to a temperature of 225°F (107°C).
- 3
Smoke the Brisket
Place the brisket in the smoker and smoke for about 1.5 hours per pound, or until the internal temperature reaches 195°F to 205°F (90°C to 96°C).
- 4
Rest the Brisket
Once done, remove the brisket from the smoker and let it rest for at least 30 minutes before slicing.
- 5
Prepare the BBQ Sauce
While the brisket is resting, prepare your house-made sweet and tangy BBQ sauce (recipe not included).
- 6
Assemble the Sandwich
Slice the brisket against the grain and serve on a toasted bun with BBQ sauce and pickles to taste.
