Ribs and Sides

Method

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Ribs

Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C). Rinse the pork ribs under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels.

  2. 2

    Season the Ribs

In a small bowl, combine salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika. Rub the spice mixture evenly over both sides of the ribs.

  3. 3

    Bake the Ribs

Place the seasoned ribs on a baking sheet lined with aluminum foil. Cover the ribs with another piece of foil. Bake in the preheated oven for about 2.5 to 3 hours, or until the ribs are tender.

  4. 4

    Add Barbecue Sauce

Remove the ribs from the oven, uncover them, and brush the barbecue sauce generously over the top. Return to the oven uncovered and bake for an additional 30 minutes, allowing the sauce to caramelize.

  5. 5

    Prepare the Sides

While the ribs are baking, prepare your side dishes. Heat the baked beans in a saucepan over medium heat and prepare the coleslaw as per your preference.

  6. 6

    Serve

Once the ribs are done, remove them from the oven and let them rest for a few minutes. Slice the ribs and serve with baked beans, coleslaw, and your choice of bread rolls.
