Ribs

Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Ribs

Preheat the oven to 300°F (150°C). Remove the membrane from the back of the ribs and pat dry with paper towels. Season the ribs generously with salt, black pepper, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, brown sugar, and cayenne pepper.

  2. 2

    Bake the Ribs

Place the seasoned ribs on a baking sheet lined with foil. Cover them tightly with another piece of foil and bake for 2.5 to 3 hours until tender.

  3. 3

    Make the BBQ Sauce

In a saucepan over medium heat, combine ketchup, apple cider vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, honey, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Stir well and let it simmer for about 15 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld.

  4. 4

    Glaze and Broil

Once the ribs are tender, remove them from the oven and brush with the BBQ sauce. Broil on high for 5-7 minutes until caramelized and bubbly.

  5. 5

    Serve

Remove the ribs from the oven, let them rest for a few minutes, then cut into portions and serve with extra BBQ sauce on the side.
