Rack O'Ribs Ingredients

Method

Cooking Directions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Ribs

Preheat your oven to 150°C (300°F). Remove the silver skin from the back of the ribs. In a bowl, mix together paprika, brown sugar, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, salt, and cayenne pepper. Rub this spice mix all over the ribs.

  2. 2

    Slow Cook the Ribs

Place the ribs on a baking sheet lined with aluminum foil, cover with another piece of foil, and bake in the preheated oven for 2.5 to 3 hours until tender.

  3. 3

    Make the BBQ Sauce

While the ribs are cooking, combine apple cider vinegar, ketchup, honey, Worcestershire sauce, smoked paprika, mustard, and liquid smoke in a saucepan. Bring to a simmer over medium heat and let it cook for about 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.

  4. 4

    Glaze and Finish

Once the ribs are tender, remove them from the oven. Brush the BBQ sauce generously over the ribs. Increase the oven temperature to 200°C (400°F) and return the ribs to the oven, uncovered, for an additional 15-20 minutes until the sauce is caramelized.

  5. 5

    Serve

Let the ribs rest for a few minutes, then slice between the bones and serve with extra BBQ sauce on the side.
