Pulled Pork

Method

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Pork

Rub the pork shoulder with smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, brown sugar, salt, and black pepper. Let it marinate for at least 1 hour, or overnight for best results.

  2. 2

    Smoke the Pork

Preheat your smoker to 225°F (107°C). Place the marinated pork shoulder in the smoker and smoke for about 6-8 hours, or until the internal temperature reaches 195°F (90°C).

  3. 3

    Pull the Pork

Once the pork is fully cooked, remove it from the smoker and let it rest for 30 minutes. After resting, use two forks to shred the pork into bite-sized pieces.

  4. 4

    Add Flavor

In a large bowl, mix the pulled pork with apple cider vinegar and BBQ sauce. Add water as needed to achieve desired consistency.

  5. 5

    Serve

Serve the pulled pork warm, either on its own or in sandwiches with extra BBQ sauce.
