Pulled Pork Sandwich Ingredients

Method

Pulled Pork Sandwich Directions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Dry Rub

In a bowl, mix paprika, brown sugar, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper to create a dry rub.

  2. 2

    Season the Pork

Rub the dry rub all over the pork shoulder, ensuring it is well coated. Wrap in plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight for best results.

  3. 3

    Smoke the Pork

Preheat your smoker to 225°F (107°C). Place the pork shoulder in the smoker and cook for about 8-10 hours, or until the internal temperature reaches 195°F (90°C).

  4. 4

    Make the BBQ Sauce

In a saucepan, combine apple cider vinegar, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, and honey. Bring to a simmer and cook for about 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.

  5. 5

    Shred the Pork

Once the pork is done, remove it from the smoker and let it rest for 30 minutes. Then shred the meat using two forks.

  6. 6

    Assemble the Sandwiches

Toast the buns lightly. Place a generous amount of shredded pork on each bun, drizzle with BBQ sauce, and top with pickles. Serve immediately.
