Preparing the Ribs

Seasoning the Ribs
Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C). Mix salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and smoked paprika in a bowl. Rub the spice mixture generously over both sides of the ribs.

Cooking the Ribs
Place the seasoned ribs on a baking sheet lined with aluminum foil. Cover tightly with foil and bake for 2.5 to 3 hours until tender. Remove the foil and brush with BBQ sauce, then return to the oven for an additional 30 minutes.

Mixing Ingredients
Combine ketchup, brown sugar, apple cider vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, honey, mustard, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, and black pepper in a saucepan over medium heat.

Simmering
Bring the mixture to a simmer, then reduce heat to low and cook for about 20 minutes, stirring occasionally until thickened.
Serving

Plating
Serve the ribs hot with a generous side of coleslaw, baked beans, and macaroni and cheese. Add bread buns or cornbread on the side, along with pickles and extra BBQ sauce for dipping.
