Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Pineapple

Start by peeling and removing the core from the fresh pineapple. Cut the pineapple into rings or bite-sized pieces, depending on your preference.

  2. 2

    Make the Glaze

In a small bowl, combine the brown sugar, soy sauce, ground cinnamon, and black pepper. Mix well to create a marinade.

  3. 3

    Prepare the Ham Steak

Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and add the olive oil. Once hot, add the bone-in ham steak to the skillet.

  4. 4

    Cook the Ham Steak

Cook the ham steak for about 5-7 minutes on one side until it starts to brown. Flip the steak and pour the glaze mixture over the top.

  5. 5

    Add the Pineapple

Add the prepared pineapple pieces to the skillet around the ham steak. Allow everything to cook together for an additional 5-7 minutes, turning the pineapple occasionally until it's caramelized and the ham is heated through.

  6. 6

    Serve

Once cooked, remove the ham steak and pineapple from the skillet. Serve hot, drizzling any remaining glaze from the skillet over the top.
