Method

Appetizer 1: Spicy Buffalo Wings

  1. 1

    Prepare the Chicken Wings

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Rinse the chicken wings under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels.

  2. 2

    Season the Wings

In a large bowl, mix the salt, black pepper, and garlic powder. Toss the chicken wings in the seasoning mixture until evenly coated.

  3. 3

    Bake the Wings

Place the seasoned wings on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake in the preheated oven for 40-45 minutes, turning halfway through until crispy.

  4. 4

    Make the Sauce

In a small saucepan, melt the butter over low heat. Add the hot sauce and stir until combined. Remove from heat.

  5. 5

    Coat the Wings

Once the wings are done, remove them from the oven and place them in a large bowl. Pour the hot sauce mixture over the wings and toss to coat.

  6. 6

    Serve

Serve hot with celery sticks and blue cheese dressing on the side.

Appetizer 2: Loaded Nachos

  1. 7

    Prepare the Nachos

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Spread the tortilla chips evenly on a large baking sheet.

  2. 8

    Add Cheese and Toppings

Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese evenly over the tortilla chips. Add jalapeños and black olives on top.

  3. 9

    Bake the Nachos

Place the baking sheet in the oven and bake for about 10-15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

  4. 10

    Add Fresh Toppings

Remove the nachos from the oven. Top with dollops of sour cream and guacamole, and sprinkle with fresh cilantro.

  5. 11

    Serve

Serve immediately while hot and cheesy.
