Preparation
- 1
Preheat the oven
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). This will ensure that your dip cooks evenly.
- 2
Prepare the spinach
Wash the fresh spinach thoroughly and chop it roughly. If using frozen spinach, thaw and drain excess water.
- 3
Prepare the artichokes
If using canned artichoke hearts, drain and chop them into smaller pieces.
- 4
Cook the bacon
If using raw bacon, cook it in a skillet over medium heat until crispy. Drain on paper towels and crumble. If using pre-packaged bacon bits, set them aside.
Mixing Ingredients
- 5
Combine all ingredients
In a large mixing bowl, combine the cream cheese, sour cream, mozzarella cheese, jalapeño jack cheese, chopped spinach, chopped artichokes, garlic powder, salt, black pepper, and half of the bacon bits. Mix until well combined.
Baking
- 6
Transfer to baking dish
Transfer the mixed dip into a greased baking dish, spreading it evenly.
- 7
Top with remaining bacon
Sprinkle the remaining bacon bits on top of the dip for added flavor and crunch.
- 8
Bake the dip
Place the baking dish in the preheated oven and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the dip is bubbly and golden on top.
Serving
- 9
Serve
Remove the dip from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes. Serve warm with fresh tortilla chips for dipping.
