Prepare the Chipotle Mayonnaise

Make the Chipotle Mayonnaise
In a small bowl, combine the mayonnaise, chipotle peppers, and lime juice. Mix until well blended. Adjust seasoning to taste and set aside.
Cook the Bacon

Cook the Hickory-Smoked Bacon
In a skillet over medium heat, cook the hickory-smoked bacon until crispy, about 5-7 minutes. Transfer to paper towels to drain excess grease.
Prepare the Burger Patties

Mix Ingredients for the Patties
In a large bowl, combine ground beef, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Mix gently until just combined.

Form Patties
Divide the beef mixture into 4 equal portions and shape each portion into a patty, about 3/4 inch thick. Make a slight indentation in the center of each patty to prevent puffing during cooking.

Build the Smoky Blues Burger
Toast the burger buns if desired. Place a patty on the bottom half of each bun. Top with crispy bacon, lettuce, tomato slices, and red onion. Spread a generous amount of chipotle mayonnaise on the top half of the bun. Place it on top of the assembled burger and serve.
