Cook the Steak
Carefully place the seasoned ribeye in the hot skillet. Cook for about 4-5 minutes on one side without moving, until a nice crust forms.

Check for Doneness
Use a meat thermometer to check the internal temperature. For medium-rare, aim for 130°F (54°C). Adjust cooking time as necessary based on your desired doneness.
- 6
Rest the Steak
Remove the ribeye from the skillet and transfer it to a cutting board. Let it rest for 5-10 minutes before slicing to allow juices to redistribute.
Optional Side Preparation

Prepare Asparagus
While the steak is resting, rinse the asparagus and trim the woody ends. Toss in olive oil, lemon zest, salt, and pepper.
