Pasta Preparation

Drain and Set Aside
Once cooked, drain the linguine and set aside in a large bowl.
Alfredo Sauce Preparation

Melt Butter
In a medium saucepan, melt 1 tbsp of unsalted butter over medium heat.

Add Garlic
Add 3 minced garlic cloves to the melted butter and sauté for about 1 minute, until fragrant.

Incorporate Cream
Pour in 1 cup of heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer, stirring occasionally.

Add Parmesan and Seasonings
Gradually whisk in 1 cup of fresh Parmesan cheese, 1 tsp of black pepper, and a pinch of nutmeg until smooth and creamy, about 3-5 minutes.
Combine and Serve

Toss Pasta with Sauce
Add the cooked linguine to the Alfredo sauce, tossing well to coat the pasta thoroughly.

Garnish
Stir in 1 cup of diced Roma tomatoes for freshness and additional flavor.

Prepare Garlic Bread
While the pasta is cooking, prepare garlic bread by mixing 1 stick of softened butter, 2 minced garlic cloves, and 2 tbsp of chopped parsley in a bowl. Spread the mixture on a sliced loaf of French bread and bake at 375°F (190°C) for about 10-12 minutes, or until golden.

If desired, top the pasta with either 8 oz of grilled chicken, grilled shrimp, or blackened prime rib before serving.
