Prepare the Shrimp

Boil the Water
In a large pot, bring 4 cups of water to a rolling boil. Add 1 teaspoon of salt to the water.

Cook the Shrimp
Once the water is boiling, add the 5 large gulf shrimp. Boil for 2-3 minutes, or until the shrimp turn pink and opaque.

Chill the Shrimp
Remove the shrimp from the boiling water and place them immediately in an ice bath (a bowl of ice water) to stop the cooking process. Let them chill for about 5-10 minutes.
Make the Cocktail Sauce

Combine Ingredients
In a medium bowl, combine 1 cup of ketchup, 2 tablespoons of horseradish, 1 tablespoon of lemon juice, 1 teaspoon of Worcestershire sauce, 1 teaspoon of hot sauce, and a pinch of salt.

Mix Well
Stir the mixture thoroughly until all ingredients are well combined. Taste and adjust seasoning if needed.
Serve

Plate the Shrimp
Arrange the chilled shrimp on a serving platter or individual serving dishes.

Add Sauce
Serve the shrimp with a generous portion of Misty's cocktail sauce on the side.
