Pasta and Lobster Preparation

Cook the Pasta
In a large pot of boiling salted water, cook the rotini noodles according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

Prepare the Lobster
If using whole lobsters, cook and chop the lobster meat into bite-sized pieces. Set aside.
Cheese Sauce Preparation

Make the Roux
In a large saucepan, melt the unsalted butter over medium heat. Add the all-purpose flour and whisk continuously for about 2 minutes, until the mixture is light golden.

Add Milk
Slowly whisk in the whole milk, stirring constantly to prevent lumps. Cook for 5-7 minutes until the sauce thickens.

Add Cheese and Seasoning
Remove from heat and stir in the smoked gouda cheese and cheddar cheese until melted and smooth. Season with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.
Combine and Bake

Combine Ingredients
In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked rotini noodles, lobster meat, and cheese sauce. Mix well to ensure all ingredients are coated.

Prepare Panko Topping
In a small bowl, mix the panko breadcrumbs with melted butter and chopped parsley.

Bake
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish, top with the panko mixture, and bake for 25-30 minutes until the top is golden brown and crispy.

In a small bowl, combine softened butter, minced garlic, and chopped parsley.

Place the bread under the broiler for 2-3 minutes until golden brown and crispy. Watch closely to avoid burning.
