Escargot or Seafood

Garlic Toast

Method

Preparing the Escargot or Seafood

  1. 1

    Preheat the Oven

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

  2. 2

    Prepare the Escargot/Shrimp/Lobster

If using escargot, rinse them under cold water. If using shrimp or lobster, clean and devein them as necessary.

Making Garlic-Herb Butter

  1. 3

    Combine Ingredients

In a medium bowl, mix the softened butter, minced garlic, chopped parsley, chopped thyme, lemon juice, salt, and pepper until well combined.

Baking the Escargot or Seafood

  1. 4

    Arrange and Bake

Place the escargot or prepared seafood in a baking dish. Spoon the garlic-herb butter generously over the top. Bake in the preheated oven for 15 minutes.

  2. 5

    Add Cheese

After 15 minutes, remove the dish from the oven and sprinkle shredded Havarti cheese over the top. Return to the oven and bake for an additional 5 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

Making Garlic Toast

  1. 6

    Prepare the Toast

In a small bowl, mix the olive oil, minced garlic, and a pinch of salt. Brush this mixture generously onto each slice of baguette.

  2. 7

    Toast the Bread

Place the slices on a baking sheet and toast them in the oven for 5-7 minutes, or until golden brown.

Serving

  1. 8

    Plate and Serve

Remove the escargot or seafood from the oven and let it cool slightly. Serve hot with the garlic toast on the side.
