Method

Main Course

  1. 1

    Prepare the Lamb

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Make small slits in the leg of lamb and insert garlic cloves into the slits. Rub the lamb with olive oil, salt, black pepper, and chopped rosemary.

  2. 2

    Roast the Lamb

Place the lamb in a roasting pan and roast in the preheated oven for about 1.5 to 2 hours, or until the internal temperature reaches 145°F (63°C) for medium-rare. Let it rest for 15 minutes before carving.

Side Dishes

  1. 3

    Prepare the Carrots

Wash and peel the baby carrots. In a pot of boiling water, cook the carrots for about 10 minutes until tender. Drain and toss with butter and chopped parsley.

  2. 4

    Cook the Potatoes

Wash the potatoes and cut them into quarters. Boil in salted water for about 20 minutes or until fork-tender. Drain and toss with butter, salt, and pepper.

Dessert

  1. 5

    Bake the Cookies

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). In a mixing bowl, cream together butter, icing sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth. Roll out the dough and cut into egg shapes. Bake for 10-12 minutes until lightly golden.

  2. 6

    Decorate the Cookies

Once cooled, decorate the cookies with icing made from icing sugar and food coloring. Use a piping bag for intricate designs.
