Method
Preparation of Wings
- 1
Prepare the Chicken Wings
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Rinse the chicken wings under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels. Place them in a large bowl.
- 2
Season the Wings
Drizzle the vegetable oil over the chicken wings. Sprinkle the salt and black pepper over the wings. Toss to ensure all wings are evenly coated with the oil and seasonings.
Cooking the Wings
- 3
Bake the Wings
Arrange the seasoned wings in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake in the preheated oven for 40-45 minutes, or until the wings are golden brown and crispy, flipping them halfway through.
Making the Sauce
- 4
Prepare the Sauce
In a saucepan over medium heat, combine the fish sauce, brown sugar, minced garlic, and red chili flakes. Stir until the sugar is dissolved and the mixture is simmering. Allow it to cook for 5-7 minutes until slightly thickened. Remove from heat and add lime juice.
Tossing the Wings
- 5
Combine Wings and Sauce
Once the wings are done baking, remove them from the oven and place them in a large bowl. Pour the sauce over the hot wings and toss to coat evenly.
