If using chicken, dice it into bite-sized pieces. If using tofu, press to remove excess moisture and cut into cubes. For shrimp or beef, ensure they are cleaned and sliced appropriately.

In a large pot, heat a tablespoon of oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and grated ginger, sautéing until fragrant, about 1-2 minutes.

Add your chosen protein (chicken, tofu, shrimp, or beef) to the pot. Cook until the protein is cooked through (about 5-7 minutes for chicken and shrimp, 7-10 minutes for beef, and 3-5 minutes for tofu).

Incorporate Broth and Spices
Stir in the red curry paste, then add the chicken broth, coconut milk, soy sauce, fish sauce, salt, and black pepper. Bring to a simmer.
