Lobster Cooking

1. Prepare the Lobsters

Fill a large pot with enough water to cover the lobsters, add sea salt, and bring it to a rolling boil.

2. Cook the Lobsters

Once the water is boiling, carefully add the live lobsters headfirst into the pot. Cover the pot and start timing. Cook for about 8-10 minutes for the first pound and an additional 3 minutes for each extra pound.

3. Remove and Drain

When cooked, carefully remove the lobsters from the pot using tongs and place them in a colander to drain.

4. Prepare the Garlic Butter

In a small saucepan, melt the butter over low heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1-2 minutes. Remove from heat.

5. Garnish and Serve

Squeeze fresh lemon juice over the lobsters, drizzle with garlic butter, and garnish with chopped parsley. Serve immediately.

6. Prepare Corn and Potatoes

While the lobsters are cooking, you can prepare the corn and potatoes. Husk the corn and rinse the potatoes.

7. Cook the Corn

In a separate pot, bring water to a boil and add the corn. Cook for about 5-7 minutes until tender.

8. Cook the Potatoes

In another pot, add the potatoes and cover them with water. Boil for about 15-20 minutes or until fork-tender. Drain and serve alongside the lobster.
