Prepare the Edamame
Rinse the edamame under cold water to remove any dirt or impurities.

Boil Water
In a large pot, bring 4 cups of water to a rolling boil over high heat.
Cooking

Cook the Edamame
Once the water is boiling, add 2 cups of edamame. Turn down the heat to medium and cook for about 5 minutes, or until the edamame pods are tender.

Drain and Season
After cooking, carefully drain the edamame in a colander. While they are still hot, sprinkle 1 tsp of salt over the edamame and toss to coat evenly.

Serve
Transfer the salted edamame to a serving bowl. Serve warm or at room temperature as a snack or appetizer.
