Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Beef Tenderloin

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Season the beef tenderloin with salt and black pepper. Heat olive oil in a large oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat.

  2. 2

    Sear the Beef

Sear the beef tenderloin in the hot skillet for about 3-4 minutes on each side until browned.

  3. 3

    Roast the Beef

Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and roast for 20-25 minutes for medium-rare, or until desired doneness. Use a meat thermometer to check the internal temperature.

  4. 4

    Prepare Garlic Mashed Potatoes

While the beef is roasting, peel and chop the potatoes. Boil them in salted water until tender, about 15-20 minutes. Drain and return to pot.

  5. 5

    Mash the Potatoes

Add butter, minced garlic, and milk to the potatoes. Mash until smooth and creamy. Season with salt to taste.

  6. 6

    Cook the Seasonal Vegetables

In a separate pan, steam or sauté the seasonal vegetables until tender, about 5-7 minutes.

  7. 7

    Serve

Remove the beef from the oven and let it rest for 5-10 minutes before slicing. Serve with garlic mashed potatoes and seasonal vegetables.
