Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Veal

Season the veal medallions with salt and black pepper on both sides.

  2. 2

    Sauté the Medallions

In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the veal medallions and cook for about 3-4 minutes per side, or until golden brown. Remove from the skillet and set aside.

  3. 3

    Cook the Mushrooms

In the same skillet, add the sliced mushrooms and sauté until they are golden and tender, about 5 minutes.

  4. 4

    Add Wine and Marinara Sauce

Pour in the dry white wine, scraping any browned bits from the bottom of the skillet. Allow it to simmer for 2-3 minutes. Then, add the marinara sauce and Italian seasoning, stirring well.

  5. 5

    Combine and Simmer

Return the veal medallions to the skillet. Cover and let it simmer on low heat for 10-15 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld.

  6. 6

    Add Cheese

Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese over the veal and cover the skillet again. Let it cook for an additional 5 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

  7. 7

    Serve

Remove from heat and serve hot with your favorite side dish.
