Cooking Instructions
- 1
Cook the Pasta
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the fettuccini and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- 2
Cook the Chicken
While the pasta is cooking, season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper. In a large skillet over medium heat, melt 2 tablespoons of butter. Add the chicken and cook for about 6-7 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and cooked through. Remove from skillet and let rest before slicing.
- 3
Prepare the Alfredo Sauce
In the same skillet, melt the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Reduce the heat and stir in the grated Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
- 4
Combine and Serve
Add the cooked fettuccini to the skillet with the Alfredo sauce and toss to coat. Slice the cooked chicken and place it on top of the pasta. Garnish with chopped parsley and additional Parmesan cheese if desired. Serve immediately.
