Prepare the Steak

Marinate the Steak
In a bowl, combine olive oil, garlic powder, cumin, chili powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix well to create a marinade. Add the flank steak to the bowl, ensuring it is well-coated with the marinade. Cover and let it marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes, or up to 2 hours for more flavor.

Grill the Steak
Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. Remove the steak from the marinade and place it on the grill. Cook for about 5-7 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or until desired doneness. Use a meat thermometer to check the internal temperature (130°F for medium-rare).

Slice the Steak
After resting, slice the flank steak against the grain into thin strips.

Assemble the Tacos
On each warm tortilla, add a few slices of the grilled steak. Top with chopped fresh cilantro, diced red onion, slices of avocado, and a spoonful of salsa. Squeeze fresh lime juice over the top for added flavor.
