Method

Making the Lamb Filling

1

Cook the Lamb Mixture

In a large skillet over medium heat, add olive oil and sauté the finely chopped onion until translucent. Add minced garlic and cook for an additional minute.

2

Add Lamb and Spices

Add the ground lamb to the skillet and cook until browned. Stir in cinnamon, cumin, paprika, salt, and pepper. Cook for another 5 minutes until the lamb is cooked through. Remove from heat and let it cool slightly.

Prepare the Puff Pastry

Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F). Roll out puff pastry sheets on a floured surface and cut into squares.

4

Fill and Seal

Place a spoonful of the lamb mixture in the center of each pastry square. Fold the pastry over to form a triangle and seal the edges by pressing with a fork.

5

Egg Wash

Brush the tops of the puffs with the beaten egg. Place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

6

Bake

Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.

In a saucepan, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add finely chopped onion and sauté until translucent. Add minced garlic and cook for an additional minute.

8

Add Tomatoes and Seasonings

Making the Tahini Sauce

9

Combine Ingredients

In a small bowl, whisk together tahini, lemon juice, minced garlic, water, and salt until smooth. Adjust consistency with more water if needed.
