Method

Cheesecake Preparation

  1. 1

    Preheat the Oven

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

  2. 2

    Combine Ingredients

In a large mixing bowl, combine the cream cheese and sugar. Beat until smooth.

  3. 3

    Add Eggs

Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.

  4. 4

    Incorporate Cream and Flavor

Stir in the heavy cream, vanilla extract, flour, and salt until just combined.

  5. 5

    Bake

Pour the batter into a greased 9-inch springform pan. Bake for 50-60 minutes until the top is dark brown and the center is slightly jiggly. Let it cool completely.

Bourbon Caramel Preparation

  1. 6

    Make Caramel

In a saucepan over medium heat, melt the sugar until it turns golden brown. Stir constantly to prevent burning.

  2. 7

    Add Butter and Cream

Remove from heat and carefully whisk in the butter and heavy cream until smooth.

  3. 8

    Add Bourbon

Stir in the bourbon and a pinch of salt. Allow the caramel to cool slightly.

Assembly

  1. 9

    Serve

Slice the cooled cheesecake and drizzle the bourbon caramel over each slice. Top with Amarena cherries.
