Preparation Steps
- 1
Prepare the Broccolini
In a large skillet, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant. Add the broccolini and sauté for 4-5 minutes until tender. Season with salt, pepper, and lemon juice. Remove from heat and set aside.
- 2
Cook the Barramundi
Season the barramundi fillets with salt and pepper. In the same skillet, add 2 tablespoons of olive oil and heat over medium-high heat. Place the fillets skin-side down and cook for about 4-5 minutes until the skin is crispy. Carefully flip the fillets and cook for an additional 3-4 minutes until cooked through. Add lemon zest during the last minute of cooking.
- 3
Warm the White Beans
In a small saucepan, combine the white beans with a little olive oil, salt, and pepper. Heat over low heat until warmed through.
- 4
Serve
On each plate, place a generous scoop of piperade, followed by the warmed white beans, the sautéed broccolini, and top with the barramundi fillet. Garnish with additional lemon zest if desired.
