Shrimp Preparation

Method

Shrimp Preparation

  1. 1

    Marinate the Shrimp

In a mixing bowl, combine the olive oil, minced garlic, paprika, salt, black pepper, and lemon juice. Stir well to create a marinade.

  2. 2

    Add the Shrimp

Add the peeled and deveined shrimp to the marinade. Toss to coat the shrimp evenly. Cover and let marinate in the refrigerator for at least 15 minutes.

  3. 3

    Cook the Shrimp

Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the marinated shrimp to the skillet and cook for about 2-3 minutes per side or until the shrimp turn pink and opaque. Remove from heat.

Boat Assembly

  1. 4

    Prepare the Bread

Slice the French bread or hoagie rolls lengthwise to create a boat-like shape. You may remove some of the inner bread to make space for the fillings.

  2. 5

    Add the Base

Layer the shredded lettuce evenly on the bottom of each bread piece.

  3. 6

    Add the Shrimp

Spoon the cooked shrimp evenly over the lettuce layers in each bread piece.

  4. 7

    Top with Vegetables

Add diced tomatoes and sliced avocado on top of the shrimp.

  5. 8

    Add Sauce and Garnish

Drizzle cocktail sauce over the top and sprinkle chopped parsley for garnish.
