Method
Prepare the Beef
- 1
Cook the Ground Beef
In a large skillet over medium heat, add the ground beef. Cook, breaking it apart with a spatula, until it's browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
- 2
Add Taco Seasoning
Stir in the taco seasoning and water. Mix well to combine and bring to a simmer. Let it cook for about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally until the sauce thickens slightly.
Assemble the Tacos
- 3
Prepare Taco Shells
While the beef is cooking, prepare the taco shells according to the package instructions. This usually involves warming them in the oven or microwave.
- 4
Fill Taco Shells
Once the taco shells are ready, fill each shell with the seasoned beef mixture. Top with shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, and shredded cheese.
- 5
Add Condiments
Spoon sour cream and salsa over the filled tacos as desired.
