Method

Making the Lemonade

  1. 1

    Prepare the Strawberries

Wash the strawberries thoroughly, remove the stems, and slice them in half.

  2. 2

    Juicing the Lemons

Cut the lemons in half and juice them using a citrus juicer. Strain the juice to remove seeds and pulp.

  3. 3

    Mix the Lemonade Base

In a large pitcher, combine the lemon juice, granulated sugar, and 4 cups of water. Stir well until the sugar is fully dissolved.

  4. 4

    Add Strawberries

Add the sliced strawberries to the pitcher. Use a muddler or the back of a spoon to gently mash the strawberries, releasing their juices.

  5. 5

    Color the Lemonade

Add pink food coloring to the mixture, a few drops at a time, until you achieve the desired pink hue.

Serving

  1. 6

    Prepare the Glasses

Fill two glasses with ice cubes.

  2. 7

    Pour the Lemonade

Pour the pink lemonade over the ice in each glass.

  3. 8

    Garnish

Garnish each glass with a lemon slice, a whole strawberry, and a few mint leaves for a refreshing touch.
