Prepare the Liver
Rinse the beef liver under cold water and pat it dry with paper towels. Trim any connective tissue or membranes.

Chop the Onion
Peel and slice the onions into thin rings for even cooking.

Prepare the Bacon
Cut the bacon strips into halves for easier handling when cooking.

Slice the Tomato
Wash the tomato and slice it into thick rounds for the sandwich.

Cook the Bacon
In a large skillet over medium heat, add the bacon pieces and cook until they are crispy, about 5-7 minutes. Remove the bacon and let it drain on paper towels.

Cook the Liver
In the same skillet, add the beef liver slices. Season with salt and black pepper. Cook for about 3-4 minutes on each side, until browned and slightly firm to the touch.

Butter the Buns
Spread butter on the inner sides of each toasted bun and place them on a plate.

Layer the Ingredients
On the bottom half of each bun, place a leaf of lettuce, a slice of cooked liver, a generous amount of sautéed onions, and two pieces of crispy bacon. Top with a slice of tomato.

Cover with the top half of the bun. Press down gently and serve immediately.
