Directions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Ingredients

Gather all the ingredients on a clean surface.

  2. 2

    Cook the Ham

In a skillet over medium heat, add the sliced ham and cook for about 2-3 minutes on each side, until heated through and slightly crispy. Remove from the skillet and set aside.

  3. 3

    Scramble the Eggs

In the same skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Crack the eggs into a bowl, add salt and black pepper, and whisk until combined. Pour the eggs into the skillet and cook, stirring gently until the eggs are fully cooked but still soft, about 3-4 minutes.

  4. 4

    Add Cheese

While the eggs are still warm, sprinkle the cheddar cheese over the scrambled eggs. Allow the cheese to melt for about 1-2 minutes.

  5. 5

    Assemble the Dish

If making a sandwich, toast the bread slices lightly. Place a slice of ham on one slice of bread, followed by the cheesy scrambled eggs. Top with another slice of ham if desired, and close the sandwich with the second slice of bread.

  6. 6

    Serve

Serve the ham, egg, and cheese dish warm, either on a plate or as a sandwich. Enjoy!
