Method

Preparing the Patty

  1. 1

    Make the Beef Patty

In a mixing bowl, combine ground beef, salt, black pepper, and garlic powder. Mix gently until just combined.

  2. 2

    Form Patties

Divide the mixture into two equal portions and shape them into patties, about 3/4 inch thick.

Cooking the Patty

  1. 3

    Cook the Patties

Preheat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side or until they reach your desired level of doneness.

Making the Sauce

  1. 4

    Combine Sauce Ingredients

In a small bowl, mix mayonnaise, ketchup, mustard, and finely chopped pickles until well combined. Adjust seasoning to taste.

Preparing Toppings

  1. 5

    Slice Vegetables

Wash and slice the tomato and onion into thin slices. Rinse the lettuce and pat dry.

Assembling the Burger

  1. 6

    Build the Burger

Toast the burger buns if desired. On the bottom half of each bun, spread a generous amount of special sauce, add a beef patty, followed by lettuce, tomato slices, and onion slices. Top with the other half of the bun.
