Preparation
- 1
Prepare the Cherries
Start by washing the fresh cherries thoroughly. Remove the stems and pit the cherries. You can use a cherry pitter or slice them in half and remove the pit with a knife.
- 2
Juice the Lemons
Juice enough fresh lemons to make 1 cup of lemon juice. Strain the juice to remove any seeds and pulp for a smoother lemonade.
- 3
Combine Ingredients
In a large pitcher, combine the pitted cherries, lemon juice, and granulated sugar. Use a muddler or the back of a spoon to mash the cherries slightly to release their juices.
