Preparation
- 1
Preheat Oven
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) to prepare for baking the bites.
- 2
Prepare Broccoli
Wash and chop the broccoli florets into small pieces. Steam or boil them for about 3-5 minutes until slightly tender. Drain and set aside to cool.
- 3
Cook Bacon
If not already cooked, fry the bacon in a skillet over medium heat until crispy. Remove from heat, drain on paper towels, and chop into small pieces.
Mixing Filling

Combine Ingredients
In a mixing bowl, combine the chopped broccoli, shredded cheddar cheese, chopped bacon, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.
Preparing Pastry
- 5
Roll Out Puff Pastry
On a lightly floured surface, roll out the puff pastry sheet to smooth it out. Cut the pastry into squares of about 3x3 inches.
- 6
Fill Pastry Squares
Place a spoonful of the broccoli mixture in the center of each pastry square. Be careful not to overfill.
- 7
Seal Bites
Fold the corners of the square over the filling to create a pocket. Pinch the seams to seal the edges securely.
Baking
- 8
Prepare for Baking
Place the sealed bites on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Brush the tops with the beaten egg for a golden finish.
- 9
Bake
Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until the bites are golden brown and puffed.
Serving

Cool and Serve
