Main Ingredients

Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Ingredients

Begin by gathering all the ingredients on your countertop. Make sure the blue cheese is at room temperature to ensure easier mixing.

  2. 2

    Mince the Garlic

Peel the garlic cloves and mince them finely. Set aside.

Cooking

  1. 3

    Melt the Butter

In a medium saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat until it is fully liquid.

  2. 4

    Add Garlic

Once the butter has melted, add the minced garlic to the pan and sauté for about 1-2 minutes until fragrant but not browned.

  3. 5

    Incorporate Blue Cheese

Reduce heat to low and crumble the blue cheese into the pan, stirring continuously until it begins to melt and combine with the butter and garlic.

  4. 6

    Add Heavy Cream

Slowly pour in the heavy cream while stirring. Continue to cook on low heat until the mixture is creamy and slightly thickened, about 3-5 minutes.

  5. 7

    Season the Sauce

Add black pepper and salt to taste. Stir well to combine all the flavors.

  6. 8

    Garnish and Serve

Remove from heat and stir in chopped fresh parsley. Serve warm as a sauce over pasta, steak, or as a dip.
