Cooking Essentials

Method

Cooking the Bacon

  1. 1

    Prepare the Pan

Place a large skillet over medium heat and allow it to warm up for about 2 minutes.

  2. 2

    Cook the Bacon

Lay the bacon slices in the skillet in a single layer. Cook for about 4-5 minutes on one side until crispy, then flip and cook for another 2-3 minutes until both sides are golden brown.

  3. 3

    Drain the Bacon

Once cooked, remove the bacon from the skillet and place it on a plate lined with paper towels to absorb excess grease.

Cooking the Eggs

  1. 4

    Add Butter

In the same skillet (with some bacon grease for flavor), add 1 tablespoon of butter and allow it to melt over medium heat.

  2. 5

    Crack the Eggs

Once the butter has melted and is bubbling, carefully crack the eggs into the skillet. Cook for about 2-3 minutes until the whites are set.

  3. 6

    Season the Eggs

Sprinkle salt and black pepper over the eggs to taste.

  4. 7

    Finish Cooking

If you prefer your yolks firmer, cover the skillet with a lid and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes.

  5. 8

    Serve

Once the eggs are cooked to your liking, carefully remove them from the skillet and place them on a plate alongside the crispy bacon.
