Method

Preparation of Burger

  1. 1

    Prepare the Beef Patty

In a mixing bowl, combine the ground beef with salt and black pepper. Form the mixture into two equal-sized patties.

  2. 2

    Cook the Beef Patty

Preheat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side or until they reach your desired doneness.

  3. 3

    Melt the Cheese

During the last minute of cooking, place a slice of cheddar cheese on each patty and cover to help it melt.

Cooking the Toppings

  1. 4

    Cook the Bacon

In the same skillet or grill, cook the bacon slices until crispy, about 3-4 minutes per side. Remove and set aside.

  2. 5

    Fry the Eggs

In the remaining bacon grease, crack the eggs and fry them sunny-side up or to your preferred doneness. Season with salt and pepper.

Assembling the Burger

  1. 6

    Toast the Buns

Optional: Lightly toast the burger buns on the grill or in a toaster.

  2. 7

    Build the Burger

On the bottom half of each bun, place a beef patty with melted cheese. Top with crispy bacon and a fried egg. Cover with the top half of the bun.
