Method
Prepare Cheese Mixture
- 1
Mix the Base Ingredients
In a mixing bowl, combine 200g of Dill Farmer’s Cheese and 150g of smoked salmon. Use a fork to break apart the salmon and mix into the cheese until well incorporated.
- 2
Add Flavoring
Stir in 3 tablespoons of fried garlic and 1 finely chopped Scotch bonnet pepper (adjust to taste) into the cheese and salmon mixture. Mix thoroughly to ensure even distribution of flavors.
- 3
Add Balsamico
Drizzle in 2 tablespoons of balsamico. Mix again until the balsamico is fully integrated into the paté.
Prepare Garnish and Serve
- 4
Slice the Bread
Take 8 slices of rye bread and set aside. You may toast them lightly if preferred for added crunch.
- 5
Plate the Dish
Spoon the smoked salmon paté onto a serving platter or individual plates. Top with sliced pickled sweet peppers for added color and flavor.
- 6
Serve
Serve the smoked salmon paté alongside the rye bread slices, allowing guests to spread the paté on the bread as desired.
