1. Prepare the Glass
Fill a tall glass with ice cubes to chill it while you prepare the drink.
2. Mix the Ingredients
In a cocktail shaker, combine 2 oz of Averna Amaro, 0.5 oz of fresh lemon juice, 0.5 oz of simple syrup, and 2 dashes of Angostura bitters.
3. Shake the Mixture
Fill the shaker with ice, secure the lid, and shake vigorously for about 15 seconds until well chilled.
4. Strain into Glass
Remove the ice from the tall glass you prepared earlier. Strain the mixture from the shaker into the glass over fresh ice.
5. Top with Soda
Top the drink with 3 oz of club soda to add a refreshing fizz.
