In a cocktail shaker, combine 2 oz of mezcal, 1 oz of prickly pear puree, and 1 oz of fresh lime juice. Add ice and shake well for about 15 seconds.

Strain the mixture into the prepared glass filled with fresh ice. Top with 4 oz of ginger beer.
