Burger Patty

Goulash Topping

Fires (Fries)

Method

Burger Patty

  1. 1

    Prepare the Burger Patty

In a large bowl, combine 1 lb of ground beef, onion powder, garlic powder, salt, black pepper, and Worcestershire sauce. Mix until well combined.

  2. 2

    Shape Patties

Divide the mixture into 4 equal portions and shape each portion into a patty.

  3. 3

    Cook the Patties

Preheat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Cook each patty for 4-5 minutes on each side, or until desired doneness is achieved.

Goulash Topping

  1. 4

    Cook the Goulash

In a skillet over medium heat, brown 0.5 lbs of ground beef along with chopped onion and bell pepper until the vegetables are tender.

  2. 5

    Add Flavorings

Stir in minced garlic, tomato sauce, paprika, dried oregano, salt, and black pepper. Simmer for 10-15 minutes until thickened.

Fennel Jam

  1. 6

    Prepare the Fennel

In a saucepan, combine thinly sliced fennel, sugar, apple cider vinegar, and salt.

  2. 7

    Cook the Jam

Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until the fennel becomes soft and the mixture thickens, about 20-25 minutes. Let it cool.

Fires (Fries)

  1. 8

    Prepare the Potatoes

Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C). Toss the cut potatoes with olive oil, salt, and black pepper.

  2. 9

    Bake the Fries

Spread the potatoes in a single layer on a baking sheet and bake for 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden and crispy.
