Method
Fried Chicken
- 1
Prepare the Chicken
In a large bowl, combine the buttermilk, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and paprika. Whisk together until well mixed. Add the chicken pieces to the buttermilk mixture and let marinate for at least 1 hour (or overnight in the refrigerator).

- 3
Heat the Oil
In a large, deep skillet or fryer, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat until it reaches 350°F (175°C).
- 4
Coat and Fry the Chicken
Remove the chicken from the buttermilk marinade, allowing excess to drip off. Dredge the chicken in the flour mixture, ensuring each piece is well-coated. Carefully place the chicken in the hot oil and fry until golden brown and cooked through, about 15-20 minutes. Remove the chicken and drain on paper towels.
Black Pepper Honey
- 5
Make the Black Pepper Honey
In a small saucepan over low heat, combine the honey and black pepper. Stir gently until the mixture is warm and well combined. Remove from heat and set aside.
Bleu Cheese Dressing
- 6
Prepare the Bleu Cheese Dressing
In a medium bowl, mix together the bleu cheese, mayonnaise, sour cream, white vinegar, salt, and black pepper. Whisk until smooth and creamy. Adjust seasoning to taste.
Green Goddess Dressing
- 7
Prepare the Green Goddess Dressing
In another bowl, combine the chopped parsley, chives, tarragon, mayonnaise, lemon juice, salt, and black pepper. Mix well until smooth and creamy. Adjust seasoning to taste.
Serve
- 8
