Base spirits & liqueurs

Method

Build & shake

1

Prepare mixing

Chill a large wine glass or rocks glass. Fill a cocktail shaker with ice.

2

Add base ingredients

Into the shaker add 2 oz Grey Goose vodka, 0.5 oz Chambord, 0.5 oz Amaro Montenegro, 0.75 oz fresh orange juice, 0.25 oz fresh lemon juice and 0.25 oz simple syrup.

3

Shake

Shake vigorously for 10–12 seconds until well chilled and slightly diluted.

Assemble cocktail

4

Prepare glass

Fill the chilled glass with large ice cubes (or crushed ice if preferred). If using a fresh berry, lightly muddle it in the bottom of the glass before adding ice for extra fruit aroma.

5

Strain & top with Lambrusco

Double-strain the shaken mixture over the ice into the glass to remove ice shards and any berry solids. Top with 2 oz chilled Lambrusco poured gently to preserve effervescence.

6

Garnish & finish

Express an orange wheel over the glass (squeeze the peel to release oils), rub the rim with the orange, then drop the wheel into the drink. Slap the mint sprig briefly to release aromatics and rest it against the orange. Optionally float a whole berry on top. Serve immediately with a short stirring pick so the guest can integrate the Lambrusco as they sip.
