Method
Preparation
- 1
Make the Dough
In a large bowl, combine all-purpose flour and salt. Gradually add water until a soft dough forms. Knead for about 5 minutes until smooth. Cover with a damp cloth and let it rest for 30 minutes.
- 2
Prepare the Filling
In a skillet over medium heat, add a tablespoon of oil. Sauté onions until translucent, then add garlic, ginger, and green chili. Cook for another 2 minutes.
- 3
Cook the Chicken
Add ground chicken to the skillet and cook until fully cooked and browned. Stir in coriander powder, cumin powder, and garam masala. Season with salt to taste. Remove from heat and let it cool.
- 4
Assemble the Samosas
Divide the dough into small balls. Roll each ball into a circle, cut in half, and form a cone. Fill the cone with the chicken mixture and seal the edges with water.
- 5
Fry the Samosas
Heat oil in a deep pan over medium heat. Fry the samosas in batches until golden brown and crispy. Remove and drain on paper towels.
